The main post office in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford has been sealed off in an anthrax scare.

The alarm was raised when white powder was spotted leaking from the package.

Fifty employees have been kept in the building while further tests are carried out.

The package was addressed to a Latvian national in the town but suspicions grew when the address did not match up.
