Cafu to spend another year at Milan

Brazilian international Cafu has signed a one-year contract extension with AC Milan.

Brazilian international Cafu has signed a one-year contract extension with AC Milan.

The veteran right-back, whose contract was due to expire this summer, has committed himself to the Rossoneri until June 2007.

Cafu has been a regular in Carlo Ancelotti’s starting line-up since moving to the San Siro from Roma in 2003 and has made 15 league appearances this season.

Twice a World Cup winner with Brazil, he is set to play in his fourth World Cup tournament this summer despite turning 36 in June.

Earlier this season he also said he would like to end his career with his first club Sao Paulo.
