President visits Irish funded projects in Uganda

President McAleese today continues her visit to Uganda with a trip to a district, which is receiving a health service, education and water supplies through Irish Government Aid.

President McAleese today continues her visit to Uganda with a trip to a district, which is receiving a health service, education and water supplies through Irish Government Aid.

The district is deep in the Ugandan bush and is one of the remotest parts of the country.

President McAleese has been visiting Irish missionaries and Irish funded projects all this week.

Ireland provides Uganda with £19m in Government Aid each year.
