Former Spice Girl nets reality TV show

Geri Halliwell has landed her own reality TV show.

The former Spice Girls singer will be followed by Sky Living as she works with her ex-bandmates – Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Mel B - preparing to launch a musical based on their songs and designing her own swimwear range.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Geri is keen to do some TV as she's seen the other girls doing bits and bobs.

"Sky Living reckon she fits their female-skewed brand. Geri is really excited about the project, which is at the very early stages."

Geri - who is a single mother to five year old Bluebell - previously starred in a documentary about her life in 1999, entitled 'Geri', shortly after she quit the Spice Girls, before going on to judge TV talent show 'Popstars: The Rivals' in 2002, which launched the careers of Girls Aloud.

The star also made an ill-fated appearance as a guest judge on 'The X Factor' in 2010, but her comments to wannabe stars were met with boos from audience members.

Geri is following in the reality TV footsteps of former bandmates Emma Bunton – who was a judge on 'Dancing On Ice' - and Mel B after she starred in her own fly on the wall series 'It's A Scary World'.
