At least seven teenagers were killed when a fire erupted overnight at a horseback riding school in eastern France.

At least seven teenagers were killed when a fire erupted overnight at a horseback riding school in eastern France.

Two adults were reported missing, and a third was seriously injured.

Rescuers rushed to the scene after the fire broke out at in the early hours at horse stables in the town of Lescheraines in the Savoie region, north of Chambery.

The victims were said to be between 13 and 15 years old, officials said. The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.
