A tribunal into allegations of Garda corruption in Donegal has been established by the Dail.
The inquiry is to examine claims of harrassment against the McBrearty family and of Garda misconduct in the county.
The terms of reference for the inquiry have been agreed by the Dail.
It will investigate the harrassment allegations, along with suggestions that gardai were involved in hoax explosive finds, extortion telephone calls and impropriety in the handling of complaints by the McBrearty family.
Justice Frederick Morris is to chair the inquiry, which will produce an interim report after four months.
