Labour leader Pat Rabbitte is six votes short of being elected in Dublin South West.

Labour leader Pat Rabbitte is six votes short of being elected in Dublin South West.

Mr Rabbitte has 8,325 first preference votes.

Fine Gael's Brian Hayes and Fianna Fáil's Conor Lenihan have been elected in the constituency.

Mr Hayes got 8,346 votes and Mr Lenihan got 8,542.

The quota of votes is 8,331.

Sinn Féin's Sean Crowe got 5,066 votes.
