Postal workers in Derry are back at work today despite loyalist death threats.

A ballot of workers narrowly backed a return to service despite fears that someone inside the royal mail operation was targeting colleagues.

Meanwhile, staff at three of Belfast’s hospitals are also working in defiance of death threats.

A group calling themselves, the Catholic Reaction Force, says it will kill six employees with links to security forces if they turn up for work.

Sinn Féin has said that the group does not exist and blames the threats on the UDA. Sources close to the UDA deny the claim and dismiss the threats as a crank.
