Australian group INXS are holding auditions in six continents in search of a replacement for tragic singer Michael Hutchence - as part of a reality TV series.
The band are being filmed for INXS Rock Star in their pursuit to find a suitable frontman to record an album and tour with the group.
Hutchence died aged 37 following a suspected suicide in November 1997.
Auditions have already been held in America and Canada, and wannabe frontmen based in England performed last week at London's Shepherd Bush's Empire.
INXS fan George Condous says: "The fact that eight years have passed since Michael Hutchence's death makes the whole experience less daunting for a new frontman."
INXS guitarist Tim Farriss explains: "After Michael died, we wanted to search the world for a new singer but didn't know how we could effectively do that."
The series will be screened by American television network CBS in July.
