A woman has died following a two-car collision in Co Wexford.

The crash happened at around 3.45pm yesterday on the Newline Road at Pembroke Hill Roundabout in Kileens.

The 66-year-old woman was seriously injured when the car in which she was a passenger collided with another vehicle.

She was taken to Wexford General Hospital where she lost her fight for life last night.

Three other people were also taken to hospital with minor injuries and have since been discharged.

Gardaí in Wexford are appealing for witnesses to contact Wexford Garda Station on 053 9165200, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
