Police in the North are appealing for witnesses after confirming that a device found in Derry last night was a viable pipe bomb.

Police in the North are appealing for witnesses after confirming that a device found in Derry last night was a viable pipe bomb.

The object was found at a car wash on the Racecourse Road just before 10pm.

Officers are appealing for information on three masked men who were seen travelling in a silver car in the area at the time.
