Boy, 10, dies during football training session

A 10-year-old schoolboy has died after collapsing during a training session in Co Tyrone.

A 10-year-old schoolboy has died after collapsing during a training session in Co Tyrone.

He was taking part in a Gaelic football game in Drumquin last night when he fell to the ground.

He was given emergency aid, a defibrillator was used at the scene and a doctor was called, but he died a short time later after being taken to the Erne hospital.

A post mortem is expected to be carried out today.
