Deadline nears for Graham Dwyer appeal

Graham Dwyer has until close of business tomorrow to lodge an appeal against his conviction for the murder of Elaine O'Hara.

The 42-year-old architect from Foxrock was sentenced to life in prison in April after a jury at the Central Criminal Court found him unanimously guilty.

The trial judge Tony Hunt gave 21 days to lodge an appeal, however Dwyer had not yet submitted appeal papers with the court authorities by 4pm on Friday.
