Ulster have reported Trevor Brennan to the European rugby authorities over his alleged melee with visiting fans during yesterday's Heineken Cup game in Toulouse.

The Irishman, who plays for Toulouse, became involved in a fracas with an Ulster fan and was also sin-binned for trading punches with Ulster lock Justin Harrison.

A statement on Ulster's website today says the Irish province have reported Brennan to the ERC in relation to an "off-the-field" assault on an Ulster fan.

It also says officials with the Irish side are reviewing the situation in relation to the on-pitch incident.
