Pop superstar Justin Timberlake should prepare himself for a critical mauling when his debut movie Edison is released, warns actor Antonio Banderas.
Timberlake - who met Banderas at the Cannes film festival in May - has already filmed his part in the forthcoming thriller, in which he stars alongside Hollywood heavyweights Kevin Spacey and Morgan Freeman.
But Banderas thinks the singer will be the focus of critical movie reviews when Edison comes out.
Banderas says: "He's a funny guy and a beautiful actor really.
"I think this should be a totally open profession to anybody who wants to try. He will get crucified."
