Man dies following Cork road accident

A 46-year-old man has been killed in a crash in Co Cork, gardaí confirmed last night.

A 46-year-old man has been killed in a crash in Co Cork, gardaí confirmed last night.

The accident, involving a truck and a pick-up truck, happened on the back road at Waterrock between Carrigtwohill and Middleton this afternoon.

The dead man was the driver of the pick-up.

The road remained closed for around four hours as gardaí from Cobh garda station investigated the collision.
