A truck driver has died, after a petrol tanker overturned in South Monaghan.

A truck driver has died, after a petrol tanker overturned in South Monaghan.

The accident - on the Ballybay Road, a mile from Carrickmacross, was reported shortly before 7am this morning.

Diversions are in place, as the area is sealed off because of the risk of a fire.
