Robbie Henshaw is set to see out his contract with Connacht and stay until the end of the 2015-2016 season.
There had been rumours that Leinster would make a move for the 21-year-old at the end of this season, but The42.ie report today that he will stay with his current province until at least the summer of 2016.
Henshaw, who plays club rugby with the Buccaneers, has made 58 appearances for Connacht since his debut in 2012.
The highly-rated centre has been in the starting XV for Ireland’s opening two Six Nations games and looks set to play a key role at the World Cup in Autumn.
Leinster may not be the only possible destination for Henshaw, with Munster also interested in signing the player when he becomes available.
