Police in the North are launching their latest offensive against internet child pornography.

Police in the North are launching their latest offensive against internet child pornography.

A new specialised software programme, called Childbase, will allow police forces around the world to exchange information on child victims, as well as convicted paedophiles.

The system holds 400,000 images of young victims, paedophiles and individuals suspected of abusing children.
