Gardaí in Co Mayo have released a man arrested following an aggravated burglary in Charlestown on Sunday night.

Gardaí in Co Mayo have released a man arrested following an aggravated burglary in Charlestown on Sunday night.

The man, who is in his 20s, was released without charge last night pending instructions from the DPP.

A man in his 60s was hospitalised after being attacked during the break-in.
