Thousands of concert goers are expected to travel to Kilkenny where music legend, Bob Dylan, is billed to headline his only concert in the UK or Ireland of the year.

Thousands of concert goers are expected to travel to Kilkenny where music legend, Bob Dylan, is billed to headline his only concert in the UK or Ireland of the year.

Gardai have warned that there will be heavy traffic disruption on all roads leading to Kilkenny with O'Loughlin Road and Hebron Road both being closed until the concert ends at about 11pm tonight.

The doors to Knowlan Park opened at half past two this afternoon with the festival

due to start soon with plenty of other attractions set to feature, including Elvis Costello and his band.
