Cyrus and Schwarzenegger 'as good as engaged'
Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger are "as good as engaged".
The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker only started dating the 21-year-old student, who is actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and ex-wife Maria Shriver's son, last November, but wants to elope because she thinks she has found "The One."
A source close to the 22-year-old singer said: "Miley is telling everyone she's found The One. And he's totally under her spell. They're as good as engaged."
Patrick's mother is allegedly still "urging" him "to end things" with the blonde beauty, as she and Arnold "don't like Miley's party-girl image".
But the insider told America's OK! magazine: "Miley knows that it won't work with his family. But she's madly in love and told Patrick they should run off to a tropical island and even Las Vegas and take the plunge, just the two of them. Miley pretty much sets the agenda in the relationship."
A source close to the 'We Can't Stop' singer, who experienced a difficult split from former fiancé Liam Hemsworth in 2013, previously insisted she was determined to take her blossoming romance with Patrick a lot slower than she has done with previous relationships in order to protect herself.
The source explained: "Miley learned her lesson the hard way the first time and is being extra cautious about this relationship. She doesn't want to get her heart broken again."
