Arsenal centre-back Sol Campbell has a calf injury and will miss his side’s Champions League clash with Panathinaikos tomorrow.

Campbell is also in danger of missing England’s friendly against Spain later this month with the injury.

Gilberto Silva and Edu will also be missing at Highbury for the Group E match at Highbury, with teenager Cesc Fabregas set to partner Patrick Vieira in central midfield.

Boss Arsene Wenger today revealed the full extent of Gilberto Silva’s injury problems, with the Brazil international not set to return to action until next February.

Jose Reyes has a minor hand injury but should be fit for tomorrow’s game, and Robert Pires may earn a recall. Jermaine Pennant (hamstring) is doubtful and Gael Clichy (ankle) is out.
