Workers say they have to get money they say they are owed by haulage firm Target Express, which ceased trading on Monday evening.
A group of workers in Co Cork are continuing their sit-in protest at a Little Island depot this morning.
They say they're owed a number of weeks pay and they want to know when they'll receive it, and their entitlements for years of service.
Target Express, which works on both sides of the border, ceased trading on Monday evening amid a row with the Revenue Commissioners over tax debts.
Former employee Tom Collins says the first he heard about the closure was on the 6 o'clock news on Monday: "We were only informed of this on Monday during the news. I noticed there was no wages in there the Saturday before.
"We said we'd give the company some leeway. It's happened before but the money was there after, then this news broke on Monday at six o'clock."
