Padraig Harrington shot to the top of the leaderboard halfway through his final round at the Deutsche Bank Championship in Boston.

Ryder Cup star Harrington started the day in a chasing pack of three one shot back and moved to 16-under after the front nine.

Harrington birdied four holes out of nine as he made his charge.

American quartet Jason Dufner, Steve Stricker, Dustin Johnson and Jerry Kelly were also pushing hard as they entered the back nine.

Tiger Woods shot a wonderful 63 to finish the day eight under par but was held back from making serious inroads on the leaderboard by his third-round 72.
