The ISEQ index of Irish shares was up slight today, jumping 13.18 points to 9927.59.
Aer Lingus fell €0.05 to €2.90 on a day when it faced a possible crisis as baggage handlers threatened to refuse to start working in a new basement area.
The row was resolved later this afternoon and all work at the airport will go ahead a s normal.
The financial institutions experienced relatively little movement. AIB were up €0.02 to €22.68 while Anglo jumped €0.04 to €17.10.
IL&P were also up €0.14 to €20.77 and Bank of Ireland followed suit, climbing €0.17 to €16.67.
