A book of condolences for one of Ireland's most iconic comedian has been opened at Cork Opera House this afternoon.
Brendan Grace died on Thursday at the age of 68 following a short illness.
Cork Opera House paid tribute to the comedy legend, saying they were deeply saddened by Grace's passing.
"A wonderful contributor to comedy, music and entertainment, Brendan was a valued artist here and was loved by audiences. He will be deeply missed by us all. "
Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr John Sheehan opened the book of condolences which will be available at Cork Opera House for the public to sign for the next two weeks, Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
