Peter Stringer has passed a late fitness test and will start in this afternoon’s clash with New Zealand.

The Munster player was doubtful after he went over on his ankle in training earlier this week.

The scrum-half will line out with Ronan O’ Gara on the halfback line. Guy Easterby who was due to replace Stringer will start on the bench.
