Denise Van Outen is pregnant.
The TV presenter, 35, is expecting her first child with husband Lee Mead, the 28-year-old winner of talent search show ‘Any Dream Will Do’.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “To say they are ecstatic would be an understatement. The baby’s healthy and everything’s going to plan.”
Van Outen - who is due to give birth in May - met Lee while she was a judge on the BBC musical star search, and is expected to work through her pregnancy while judging a new show, aimed at finding a star for a new production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’.
Lee started dating Van Outen in November 2007 and proposed to her in January this year, They then married in the Seychelles in April.
Van Outen was previously engaged to Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay, and in 2006 was rumoured to have made a pact with ‘Little Britain’ star David Walliams that they would marry if neither of them found true love within two years.
Earlier this year, Lee said the broody couple would like to have more than one child.
He said: "I've always wanted children - maybe two or three. I'm excited about having kids."
