"I thought they were brilliant, absolutely excellent from start to finish," said Celtic manager Martin O'Neill.

"They were immense, every single one of them," he said of his jubilant players.

Man of the match Henrik Larsson summed up the match saying: "We got the second one and that gave us a bit more breathing space. Then we got the penalty. Then it was finished."
