A public memorial service for the late actor Gregory Peck will take place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles today.
Peck's long-time friend Brock Peters, who played the black man Atticus Finch defended in To Kill a Mockingbird agreed to deliver the eulogy.
Peck, 87, died Thursday at his home.
He won the best-actor Academy Award for playing the noble Atticus in 1962's To Kill a Mockingbird and also appeared in the films Twelve O'Clock High, The Boys From Brazil, Gentleman's Agreement and Moby Dick.
