Police in the North have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with the murder of a young woman who disappeared in Co Down earlier this year.

Lisa Dorrian, aged 25, from Bangor, hasn't been seen since leaving a party at a caravan park in nearby Ballyhalbert in February.

Detectives believe she was murdered, even though no body has been recovered.

There have also been widespread rumours that the Loyalist Volunteer Force was involved in her murder, with two notorious drug dealing brothers from east Belfast being openly blamed.

The teenager currently being questioned in connection with the case was arrested in the greater Belfast area this morning.
