Eleven bars in Kilkenny may be facing prosecution over their failure to display prices.

Eleven bars in Kilkenny may be facing prosecution over their failure to display prices.

Inspectors called to the 22 pubs in the city ahead of the Cat Laughs Comedy Festival on Wednesday last week.

Many were found not to have a price list on display.

During follow-up checks two days later, 11 were still not showing the prices, leading to the Office of Consumer Affairs taking a court case against them.
