Man killed in Co Meath road accident

A man has died after the car he was driving was in collision with another vehicle on the N2 about a mile and a half north of Slane village in Co Meath.

A man has died after the car he was driving was in collision with another vehicle on the N2 about a mile and a half north of Slane village in Co Meath.

The driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital following the crash, but her injuries are not life-threatening.

Gardai in Navan have appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward.

The dead man will not be named until all next of kin are informed.
