Age Action is urging people to check in on older neighbours this Christmas.

Age Action is urging people to check in on older neighbours this Christmas.

With the cold snap continuing, Age Action is calling on people to make an extra effort to stay in touch.

Spokesperson for Age Action Ireland Eamon Timmins said older people should wear a number of layers to keep warm and keep the heat at about 21C in the main room and 18C in other rooms, where possible.
