According to the Western People newspaper, the manager is seeking clarification on a number of issues including training pitches, the availability of McHale Park and hotel bases for matches in Dublin.

Elsewhere, Meath and Louth have new football managers this morning.

As expected Mick O'Dowd has been appointed Meath manager on a three-year term with Trevor Giles and Sean Kelly forming part of his backroom team.

In Louth, former Armagh player and Down assistant manager Aidan O'Rourke has been appointed on a two-year term.
