Australian Rules clubs are on the lookout for a number of top GAA stars to follow in the footsteps of Young Hurler of the Year Setanta O hAilpin.
The 20-year-old Cork star has been snapped up by Melbourne AFL side Carlton and it is understood that football stars Steven McDonnell, Sean Marty Lockhart, Graham Canty and Ciaran McManus are being lined up too.
If O hAilpin makes the grade then the floodgates may open for the AFL to plunder the GAA's top talent.
Former Carlton player Colin Corkery, a Cork football star, said: "I’d be confident Setanta will make it. He has the height which is a big help and they will build him up."
