This afternoon's meeting at Huntingdon has been abandoned after the track failed a noon inspection.
Clerk of the course Fiona Needham initially called a 9.30am inspection after temperatures dipped below freezing overnight.
That proved inconclusive, but the track was passed fit for racing after a second look at 10.30am.
Needham then called a third check for noon after temperatures failed to rise.
That final inspection was decisive and the meeting was abandoned.
However, Needham was subsequently forced to call a third precautionary inspection at noon, due to the temperature not rising.
