Five people were killed when a small plane crashed near Ketchikan in Alaska, US authorities said.

Five people were killed when a small plane crashed near Ketchikan in Alaska, US authorities said.

There were four survivors in last night’s crash, including a two-year-old girl, said Alaska State Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters.

Three of the four were to be transported to hospitals in other states for further treatment to burns, Ketchikan Public Safety Director Rich Leipfert told the Ketchikan Daily News.

Information about the fourth survivor was not immediately available.
