Laois football star Ross Munnelly is expected to return to action this weekend after recovering from a long-term shoulder injury.

Laois football star Ross Munnelly is expected to return to action this weekend after recovering from a long-term shoulder injury.

Munnelly suffered the injury before Christmas and has missed all three NFL Div 1B games so far this term, though he could figure against Meath at O'Moore Park.

Elsehwere, boss Mick O'Dwyer is hopeful that Brian McDonald and Ian Fitzgerald will both be fit to return.
