A 'dark' year for Halle
Halle Berry has confessed to fans that 2004 was a "dark" year.
Last year, the star divorced her second husband Eric Benet, filed a restraining order against alleged stalker Greg Broussard and witnessed her film Catwoman bomb in the box office.
In a letter to fans, the actress said: "I thank you for standing by me and graciously respecting my privacy."
She also said she had learned over the years that with the darkness comes the light and that she plans on using the many lessons she learned last year to inform her every moment of this year.
Optimistically, she added: "Until I'm on my back in that little box looking straight up, anything is possible if you just believe."
