Waterford face one of the most difficult challenges of their season as they look to upset the reigning Munster and All Ireland Champions, Tipperary, in today’s Munster hurling final.
Tipperary have looked like the best hurling side in the country so far this season with an impressive league campaign and an accomplished performance against Limerick in the last round of the Munster Championship.
Nicky English’s side are therefore the overwhelming favourites to regain their title this afternoon at Pairc Ui Chaoimh where the throw in is at 4.30pm.
Waterford enjoyed an excellent but somewhat surprising win against Cork in the last round but will have to raise their performance once again if they hope to spoil the day for Tipperary this evening.
