Kevin McHugh scored twice and Ciaran Martyn hit a stunning third as Derry made it seven wins on the spin.

McHugh headed home the first on 10 minutes from skipper Darren Kelly’s knock down before adding his second 14 minutes later from Stephen O’Flynn’s flick.

Martyn then had Derry in control in first half stoppage time with the third goal from a brilliantly-executed volley.

Bray staged a comeback in the second half with Andre Georgescu scoring a delightful goal on 48 minutes.

Romanian Georgescu crossed for Colm James to score a second on 83 minutes to set up a grandstand finish, but Derry were full value for their win to stay two points behind leaders Shels.
