Yesterday's Jolly Rally Valle d'Aosta featured a dramatic and dangerous crash in which two people were injured - but, after watching the footage, it's remarkable it wasn't more serious.
The out-of-control vehicle hit the road's bank, where a number of spectators were gathered - before flipping right past them.
A slow-motion replay shows a lucky escape for all involved, as the final spectator at the end of the row is showered with dirt and debris mere inches from the spinning car.
The drivers, Peter Scavone and Diego D'Herin, suffered only mild injuries, and a woman was taken to hospital to be treated for shock, according to local media reports.
