‘Mrs Brown’ turns serious for Finucane stint

Brendan O’Carroll is set for something completely different when he fills in for Marian Finucane on her Radio 1 show this Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 1pm.

The comedian, who premiered Mrs Browns Boys: D’Movie in Dublin on Wednesday night says he’s looking forward to presenting the show.

Brendan is no stranger to radio as he has previously stood in for Joe Duffy on his monthly live comedy show and has guest-appeared on Liveline’s Funny Friday programme.

The award-winning Finglas native has a keen interest in political and social issues stemming from his mother Maureen O’Carroll, who was elected to the 15th Dáil in the 1954 general election.
