Ordnance Survey staff are to ballot for industrial action.

Ordnance Survey staff are to ballot for industrial action.

They say they were not consulted on the appointment of a staff member to the organisation's new board, despite a government commitment.

A motion will be put to the AGM of IMPACT's Ordnance Survey branch tomorrow, calling for the ballot.

In the meantime, the union has withdrawn from OSI re-structuring discussions and partnership talks.
