Mobile operator O2 Ireland has reported a rise in its customer numbers for the quarter to the end of June.
The firm's customer numbers rose 4,000 in the quarter to nearly 1.4 million.
Contract customers grew by 7,000 in the same period.
Gains in the business market account for this rise.
The company's average revenue per user (ARPU) in Ireland was €556, which is a slight fall on the previous quarter.
The figure is still above the amounts for parent company mmO2's operations in the UK and Germany.
The parent company added 603,000 customers in the quarter, ahead of analysts' forecasts, while overall ARPU moved up £7 (€10.51) to £279 (€419).
