There's good news on the jobs front for Cork as 44 new jobs are to be created by home building company, Cronin Homes.
The firm is set to expand to cater for retro-fitting of second-hand homes.
Cronin specialises in the construction of timber-frame homes, block homes and the installation of energy efficient systems..
The company is based in Blarney village and currently employs 12 people - six of whom were hired last week.
