Hoteliers are hitting out at Aer Lingus cabin crew's plans to hold a one-day strike on Friday, May 30 in a row over rosters.
IMPACT trade union says their members are getting just one day off in 13 and are exhausted at work.
However Alan Flynn from the Flynn Hotel Group says this industrial action will have a devastating impact on the tourism sector and he's pleading with both sides in the dispute to sit down and talk.
"It's a frightening concept for many small business here, especially on the west coast and in many other locations," he said.
"Inconveniencing the public is not seen as the way forward in relation to getting any issue solved.
"We would ask that the process in the LRC is gone through and that all avenues there are exhausted before there is any potential to strike."
