The European Central Bank left its key refinancing rate unchanged today at 2%, waiting for solid evidence that Europe’s hesitant economic recovery firms up.
Today's ECB meeting was held in the form of a teleconference.
The Governing Council of the ECB decided that the minimum bid rate on the main refinancing operations and the interest rates on the marginal lending facility and the deposit facility will remain unchanged at 2%, 3% and 1% respectively.
